A folk music festival on the waterfront, featuring multiple acts over two days, including The East Pointers, Lennie Gallant, and The Barr Brothers.
AREA 506 as FOLK brings three all-ages concerts to the Saint John waterfront on August 28 and 29.
Friday Night
The East Pointers kick off the weekend with their dance-ready spin on East Coast folk, joined by Josh Bravener & The Hypochondriacs and Big River Ramblers. Doors open at 7pm, with music starting at 8pm.
Saturday Afternoon
Acclaimed Island songwriter Lennie Gallant takes the stage with Dram & A Draw and Chickahominy Trio. Doors open at 2pm and the show wraps by 6pm.
Saturday Night
The Barr Brothers close the festival with their rich mix of folk, blues and rock, joined by Saint John’s Gift Horse and New Brunswick singer-songwriter Abby McCartney. Doors open at 7pm, with music starting at 8pm.
All shows are rain or shine and open to all ages. Individual tickets start at $40, while a $79 weekend pass includes all three concerts.
