A woodwind quintet performs a Halloween program of fierce music, including The Sorcerer's Apprentice and works by Francais and Aho.
Just in time for Halloween, woodwind quintet Ventus Machina conjures up a program of music that is fierce, frenzied, and maybe even a little frightening! Featuring Paul Dukas's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (made famous in Disney's "Fantasia"), Jean Françaix's "Quintette No. 1", and the strange & shadowy "Quintet No. 1" by Finnish Composer Kalevi Aho.
